India, 17th February 2026 : CoinDCX, India’s largest crypto exchange and recognised as India’s Crypto Coach, has partnered with the Goa Police to launch Cyber Surakshit Goem (Cyber Safe Goa), another strategic initiative from its investor education arsenal, reinforcing the company’s sustained commitment to strengthening digital awareness and user safety across the country.
As India’s Crypto Coach, CoinDCX has consistently championed responsible adoption and proactive investor education. The platform has taken upon itself the responsibility of building informed, aware, and resilient digital participants. Cyber Surakshit Goem builds on this larger mission expanding its education efforts beyond crypto into broader cyber safety and digital hygiene, at a time when online risks are becoming increasingly pervasive across India.
The public awareness initiative aims to strengthen cyber safety and digital resilience among citizens during Goa Carnival week.
Running from February 13 to 17, 2026, the campaign leverages the energy and public reach of the Goa Carnival to deliver a timely message: as digital adoption accelerates across India, cyber safety must evolve from an afterthought into an everyday habit for individuals, families, and communities.
The initiative is anchored in a shared mission of empowerment through awareness ensuring citizens are equipped with practical knowledge to protect themselves from online fraud, identity theft, phishing, account hacking, cyber bullying, grooming, and other digital risks that are steadily rising across the country. At its core, the campaign emphasizes that cyber awareness should not feel intimidating or overly technical. It must be accessible, human, and action-oriented.
A key highlight of Cyber Surakshit Goem is the introduction of the “Vigilance Float” an interactive mobile classroom that will move through public Carnival routes and high-footfall areas across Goa. Designed as an approachable learning space rather than a promotional platform, the float simplifies cyber hygiene in a manner that is engaging, memorable, and aligned with the celebratory spirit of the Carnival. Citizens will receive bite-sized cyber safety lessons, practical do’s and don’ts, and real-life examples explaining how scams operate and how they can be avoided.
The campaign carries a clear and empowering directive: “Don’t Panic.”
Cybercriminals often rely on fear, urgency, and confusion. Cyber Surakshit Goem urges citizens to respond with calm and immediate action by reaching out to official support systems such as the 1930 Cybercrime Helpline and the national reporting portal cybercrime.gov.in. The initiative promotes simple, actionable “what to do next” guidance — reinforcing that cybercrime can affect anyone, and that recovery pathways are available.
To extend impact beyond physical touchpoints, the campaign will also feature a digital resource hub accessible through QR codes distributed during Carnival. These will lead citizens to educational materials, recovery checklists, and platform-level guidance for commonly targeted services such as social media and messaging applications — ensuring awareness translates into preparedness.
Special emphasis has also been placed on youth and family safety, with dedicated awareness around cyber bullying, grooming, and online exploitation. By addressing these sensitive themes in an empathy-led manner, the initiative aims to help parents and young users recognize early warning signs and take preventive action.
Commenting on the collaboration, Prashant Verma, Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, CoinDCX, said “Cyber safety today is not optional; it is fundamental to how individuals and businesses participate in the digital economy. With Cyber Surakshit Goem, our objective is to drive awareness where it has the greatest impact on the ground, within communities, and among everyday digital users. Goa Carnival represents celebration and togetherness, and we see it as a powerful platform to reinforce an essential message: digital safety is integral to everyday safety.
As India’s Crypto Coach, CoinDCX believes adoption must always go hand in hand with education and responsibility. This initiative is part of our sustained commitment to building a digitally aware nation. We have consistently invested in user education, and through collaborations like this, we are expanding that responsibility beyond our platform to society at large.”
Shri Rahul Gupta, IPS Superintendent of Police Cyber Crime Goa Police added: “Cybercrime continues to evolve, and public awareness remains one of the strongest tools we have to prevent it. Through Cyber Surakshit Goem, we aim to reach citizens in an accessible and relatable format, ensuring they understand the steps they can take to protect themselves, their families, and their digital identities.”
With Cyber Surakshit Goem, CoinDCX and the Goa Police demonstrate how public institutions and private organisations can collaborate to create meaningful societal impact. By turning Carnival joy into digital resilience, the campaign reinforces a broader national priority: making cyber awareness a part of everyday culture — not just during incidents, but as a way of life.
