Over 2,800 customers benefited under the Interest Subsidy Scheme (ISS) of PMAY-U 2.0
Indore, October 17, 2025: Reinforcing its commitment to the Government of India’s “Housing for All” mission under PMAY 2.0, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. (IIFL HFL), one of India’s leading affordable housing finance companies, organized a Customer Awareness Workshop in Indore – Madhya Pradesh. The initiative aimed to engage and honor beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana 2.0 (PMAY) Interest Subsidy Scheme (ISS) and raise awareness about affordable housing opportunities under the second phase of the flagship housing scheme.
The event brought together over 100+ subsidy beneficiaries from Indore, Ujjain and Dewas along with senior officials, including Mr. Amit Sengar, Chief Business Officer – Emerging Markets, and Mr. Abhishek Joshi, Zonal Sales Manager, IIFL Home Finance. The workshop focused on educating customers about the benefits of PMAY 2.0, the process of availing subsidies, and the importance of ease in home financing. During the event, eligible customers were facilitated with subsidy certificates, marking a key milestone in their homeownership journey.
In line with its strategy to deepen reach across Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, IIFL Home Finance has built a strong network of over 300 branches, strengthening its presence in the affordable housing segment. Through simplified credit processes, proactive customer engagement, and co-lending partnerships with leading financial institutions, the company continues to expand access to formal finance for EWS/LIG customer segment. IIFL Home Finance has facilitated PMAY subsidies for over 2,800 customers across India, including more than 300 beneficiaries from Madhya Pradesh, helping families transition from informal housing to secure, affordable homes.

As of August 2025, basis the government data, 8.56 lakh houses were sanctioned under PMAY-U 2.0, with over 75,000 allocated to women, including single women and widows, highlighting the scheme’s focus on women’s empowerment. The state’s continued focus on expanding affordable housing under PMAY 2.0 reflects growing demand for formal homeownership in emerging cities such as Indore, Bhopal, and Gwalior.
As part of its continued commitment to financial inclusion and housing for all, the company will organize similar workshops across key states including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, and Rajasthan further strengthening its outreach to EWS and LIG segments nationwide.
