Toyota Kirloskar Motor Partners with Government of Nagaland to Boost Healthcare and Education Facilities in the State

Nagaland, February 12, 2026: Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced the completion of key initiatives aimed at contributing towards healthcare and education in Nagaland benefiting over 4.4 lakh citizens across Kohima and Dimapur districts. As a responsible corporate led by its philosophy of creating inclusive social impact; TKM remains committed to strengthening communities through sustainable CSR activations.

These CSR activations form a key part of the broader MoU signed between TKM and the Government of Nagaland aimed at implementing holistic CSR initiatives during FY 2025–26. The MoU focuses on strengthening healthcare systems, enhancing educational infrastructure, promoting hygiene, and driving inclusive community development.

As part of the healthcare intervention, TKM has supplied critical and lifesaving medical and non-medical equipment at Health Centers and District Hospitals in Nagaland such as ambulances, X-ray machines, diagnostic scanners, patient beds and essential hospital furniture. The equipment will enable timely emergency response, enhanced diagnostic capability, strengthened patient care and reduced referral dependency for rural and semi-urban communities.

Further supporting the state’s education ecosystem, TKM has improved school infrastructure to create conducive learning environments for children. The initiatives focus on improving safety, hygiene, and overall learning conditions through the provision of classroom furniture, kitchen equipment to support hygienic mid-day meals, and sports materials. These efforts aim to benefit students by encouraging regular attendance, improving student well-being, and contributing to sustainable learning outcomes.

A formal handover ceremony was held on 12th February 2026 at Zone Niathu by The Park, Dimapur, Nagaland, in the presence of Dr. Neiphiu Rio, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland, Mr. Yanthungo Patton, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Temjen Imna, Hon’ble Minister for Education & Tourism, and Mr. Abu Metha, Chairman, Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) along with Mr. Vikram Gulati, Country Head & Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Governance of TKM.
