> “As we celebrate the birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, we remember the spirit of fearlessness – ‘Deh kaahu ko det na, na det bhae maan’. India’s progress depends on empowering its farmers and industries. Through the One Direction Foundation, we are strengthening farmers and youth to ensure India’s development. BGIF is also dedicated to shaping India’s industrial future and driving self-reliance.”
Union Minister Shri Bhupender Yadav highlighted India’s 7.8% GDP growth in April–June 2025, driven by services, manufacturing, agriculture, and construction. He noted that this achievement reflects the strength and ambition inspired by the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, and reaffirmed India’s commitment to building a sustainable and self-reliant economy that can lead the world.
In his keynote address, Shri Ramlal Ji remarked:
> “Industries prosper only when the nation prospers. I have observed that while some states have achieved significant industrial development, others still need to progress. A peaceful society, pro-industry policies, and strong governance are essential for industrial growth. India’s nature is not to sit back in fear but to face challenges and turn crises into opportunities. The forum must continue its efforts to frame policies that drive self-reliance and boost exports, for true growth comes when exports surpass imports.”
Shri Satish Kumar, Akhil Bharatiya Sah-Sanyojak, Swadeshi Jagran Manch, emphasized India’s long-standing export heritage:
> “For centuries, India’s exports accounted for nearly 33–34% of global trade. Even today, India leads in rice exports, ranks second in wheat exports, and exports agro-products to 130 countries. No matter the challenges, India has strong leadership and decision-making capacity to emerge victorious in the global trade arena.”
Shri Raj Kumar Goyal, MD, SLR Metalinks and Vice Chairman, BGIF, highlighted the inception of the forum six months ago under the inspiration of Shri Ramlal Ji, Shri Satish Ji, and Swadeshi Jagran Manch, and its continued role in aligning with the Central Government on vital industrial issues such as tariffs.
Shri A.S. Mittal, Vice Chairman, Sonalika Tractors, stressed the need for governments and policymakers to consider reforms related to dry ports and railway tariffs to boost state-level development.
A highlight of the conclave was the felicitation of Kunwarani Ritu Singh, descendant of the royal Dogra dynasty of Jammu & Kashmir, for her outstanding contribution to nation-building. Her recognition symbolizes her leadership in women’s empowerment, promotion of Swadeshi entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic initiatives, while preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.
The BGIF Conclave 2025 reaffirmed India’s industrial vision and collective determination to build the nation into a self-reliant global industrial powerhouse.
